Cfm Requirement for 11X11 Split Room

Hello I am doing a 8x8 flower and roughly 3x3 veg tent. They will be side by side but separate tents. I will be using one exhaust for both using a y adapter to duct the exhaust to both. Since I will be pulling from both I was like at a 12" 1060 cfm inline fan. Is that overkill or should I be fine with that fan?

Thats PLENTY of fan........................i use a 6 inch 700 cfm radial to pull from 3 linked together........

Some math that helps give a general idea is length x width x height x 2 = recommended cubic feet/minute

450 for my 3 linked..............WHY i use an fan speed adjuster on my 700... You have PLENTY O FAN bro............lol......

Well I don't want it sucking my plants up... Just kidding. Is that way too much overkill for a split room? if it is what size would you recommend?

that's more than enough cfm

Like I said..............buy a 29 buck speed controller, sit in tents, adjust speed of fan till you FEEL air moving in all 3 tents.......mine is running at 60% or so
