CH9 Humboldt 240w LED

Hey Rollitup.
So my last grow died as a seedling, probably because I didn't wait long enough to plant it and planted it too deep (1.5").
I am now going to attempt to grow CH9's Humboldt. I'm giving up on Autoflowers for a while. I'm going to be using a Blackstar 240w from start to finish (ordering today). Bean is germinating now and will be left in the paper towels at least until there is a significant root coming out of the seed. Possibly leaving it in the towels until cotyledons show.
Wish me luck!

It's weird. I never had trouble germing bag seeds in my closet as a teenager, but for some reason I can't seem to keep good seeds alive now that I'm actually seriously trying to grow.

Leave the Seed to germ in the Kitchen Towel... and leave it so long... it has leaves.... then gently remove it and plant it root down! leaves up! I know this is wierd - but it is so much easier this way!

FUCK EVERYTHING!!!!! Upon checking my seed this morning, I noticed it was covered in very faint white fuzzies. After doing a little research, I'm 99% sure this is the beginning of a fungal infection. I don't get it. I did everything completely sterile. I washed my hands a million times too. I am so fed up with all these failed germinations. I just want to grow a god-damn plant!!!!!

Get clones! Problem solved. Sucks you are having so much trouble getting them to germ...you'll get em eventually

I can't. I don't have access to them. I wish I could get clones. My life would be awesome. I just don't get it. I did the same exact method that I used to get my last seed to pop. Should I wait and see if she pulls through? I wiped all the mycelium off the hull of the seed.

I would give it some time. I had some seeds do some weird things before. Hope yours makes it because I'm growing some CH9 Humboldt also.

Get gro-dan mini blocks, let them sit in water so the ph goes down. Then throw the seed in the block. Should pop right out in a couple of days

Exactly what I'm doing now. Germing Afghan Kush Ryder and Nirvana Blue Mystic. I am letting them soak in water for like 4ish hours and then dropping them in the rock wool. Hoping for the best. My last seed that had the white fuzzies growing on it popped open and leaked out green/brown goo. Gross. Crossing fingers!

Auto Blue Mystic: The sprout has broken the surface of the rock wool cube. There are well formed cotyledons. partially buried the rock wool cube in the soil. Left a plastic dome over the seedling to retain humidity. it is under the 240w blackstar, but the light is about two feet up. Is this ok? I figure as long as the seedling doesn't get too hot or dry, it will start photosynthesizing and growing. Will be watering the soil around the moist cube with charcoal filtered tapwater that has been allowed to sit for about 4 hours. Is this all good? I will post pictures when I get my camera working. Hit me up with advice!

edit: AKR is still in the dark drawer, but the seedling can be seen rising toward the surface.
