I got this bean as a freebie and from the very begining it disapointed me. It had a vigor in its growth that was impressive but did not branch out on and on.
I put it into flower and it transformed in to this monster plant easily 6ft tall. I used a scrog screen so it didnt get that tall really. Anyway it took 11 weeks before I got sick of waiting on it to finish and pulled it. Also the bud never filled out it's just super fluffy, leafy bud. It looks like shit I mean real crap! This plant has been nothing like ch9 said it was all but in the potency. This plant has some real kick too it. Now the qestion that I have is this plant that I grew a true rep. of this strain. Or did I just get a junk bean. I forgot to mention that even with the loose bud I still got 6 oz's thats not to shabby. I would not run this again unless some ppl have a different report than mine.

thanks in advance.

I got a couple of freebies from them Jack,Cluster and Blue lemon thai but never popped them because I know nothing about this company. I'm going to try the blue lemon thai and see for myself but I'd like to find out some info on this company to see whats up. That sucks to hear you didn't like the jack 33 because they seam to use it in a few crosses they offer. I did notice they like to use crosses with other companies like sensi and paradice seeds

I like the jack 33 very much the high is very racy without any parinoid feelings. The yield was good the flowering time sucked and so did the bud structure. I am just wandering if this was a poor example of this strain. I would like to run this again just cause the high is that good. But only if there is a chance of getting a mother that will give tighter buds with at least a desent flowering time. This one I grew went almost 12 weeks and it wasnt even close to finishing when I pulled it.

Just finished a run with Pete CH9 POW x Aloha White Widow x Jack 33. In jars curing now, would run his gear again.

Sounds like about what happened to mine in veg it was beautiful very vigorous and then in flower it stretched about 3x maybe more. After that it seemed to stall out my other plants got chopped and I was disappointed and threw it outside to finish got a shitty yield grew shitty but the cured product was a-1. I have another freebie jack from ch9 not the jack33 but since on the description I think it said jack33 was their special pheno of the jack and ill prolly never crack it.
Now my blue lemon Thai freebies I have I'm hoping are dank since they r motarbel strains but haven't heard great reviews about ch9

Blue Lemon Thai: Awesome. Tastes like a black berry pie. I enjoyed everything about it. Kept her in the garden.

Cluster: Wow. I had ZERO hopes for this freebie. One of the nicest looking and smelling plants I've grown. Day 75 and she gets cut today. Enormous, beautiful and colorful. Smells like strawberries. Unless the smoke SUCKS I'll keep her too. In a room of bodhi, TGA, grand Daddy Purp, cannaventure, GGG etc.

I've run CH9's Blue Lemon Thai outside for two years. Great plant! Also had an excellent experience with CH9's Blue Skunk (no longer available). In both cases, plants were east to care for, yielded nicely, and produce high quality buds. If you look around, I posted a smoke report sometime last year.

I grew out one CH9 Jack freebee last year and it was very good, but its hard to get a feel for a strain from one seed.

Also ran a few POW's outside this year - decent, but not as good as the blue lemon thai for sure. Overall, I have been very happy with CH9 gear.

Sativas grow like you describe. Sativas are also the best smoking experience in the world in my experience. Take longer to finish. Usually they will yield if hybridized quite heavily (Jack is a hybrid). Glad you enjoyed it. Did you clone the plant?

Whether buds are tight or not really has no impact on any important quality of the plant (yield/quality). A bit more challenging to trim. Don't let the bud structure scare you. I'd bet you could find a plant with tighter buds and similar high mind you, but I wouldn't be running in search of it personally. Quality is quality. Whichever yields the most of the best quality (with quality coming first) is all that matters to me. I do have flavor preferences too but if it works it works at the end of the day and flavor won't scare me off something amazing.

i know this is an old post but im currently about 7 weeks into flowering with jack33 from CH9 seeds. its better than my exodus cheese and blueberry. it has nice tight buds really heavy and the bud structure is incredible. it grew some of the best root systems I've seen. the cloning was very fast 7 days for good roots to sprout. by far the best strain i have i my garden. i have yet to see what WW from dina fem can do. as well as tangerine dream and the original jack and LA confidential as well
