Champs Med Show 2015....Cancelled

Bad news the Toronto Med Show Expo has been cancelled for next year. I just got that info in an email from Champs directly.

This is about unity and a reunion for all in the cannabis world and nice little cannabis competition which pushes the limits of patients freedoms to share and try new meds. Sad when Treating Yourself was cancelled. Sad when Champs is cancelled. Sad for Canada. Going Backwards like Amsterdam. Someone will have to step up and fill the void. Karma Cup was a great example of someone stepping up.

It is a great disappointment to me and I'm sure many others.
Yes a definite step backwards imo. I made many friends at it it. It was nice to be in a place where MJ was welcome. Hundreds of like minded people....

The lady was actually excited about it this year - I dragged her butt through it last year!

Gotta wonder if it didn't make any money or did the harptler type thinkers make it not desirable to hold it. They gave no reason.

I'm betting the true reason is somewhere in between. We went down on a Sunday I think... It was busy but not as busy as expected. I can't imagine harpers government was thrilled with the open-ness of it.

How about the 4:20 festivals? I imagine they'd be a pretty comfortable environment (albeit bright and loud for a migraine sufferer). You gone to them before? Thinking of planning a trip to Ottawa for it.

Indeed this does suck, tosh is right steps backwards for us, I have spent lots of time in Denver and they have it so good, it is crazy.
On a side note I am sure it has to do with the seed vendors, I think that when it was TY the seed vendors and AN made it lucrative for organizers, but has we all know GH was not there last year and I think they might have been pumping money in, then you have Luc from Paradise seeds, I think he was backed into a corner and he now sells seeds to MMPR companies, I think when he made the arrangement he was envisioning like 300 LP's all ordering big orders from him, LMAO so much for that, then you have delta 9 ed a really good guy, last year at CHAMPS he told me that RCMP had approached him and told him he can not sell seeds anymore. then you have medman who has good gear but not enough pull. so there you go blame Canada again,

So disappointing that Champs won't be coming to Toronto in 2015. I was there last May and it was amazing but many empty booth spaces as they were expensive. I also found their vape lounge was not very good and did not have volcanos available like the Treating yourself Expo which was packed and awesome!

You are supposed to say nice things about the expo and how successful it was so that some other company will hold another expo and you can see your friends again. Remember you catch more flies with honey than vinegar. any EXPO is better than no EXPO!

I do want the Expo or Champs to happen! Lol either one would be awesome!
