Changing pots in flowering period.

Im using autoflowering that means it will go into its flowering period in about 2/3 weeks...so nice and early to determin the sex, my problem is im germing six seeds till i can find out the sex because to grow large plants i only have space for about two of them, if i leave them in the small cups 2"x2"x3" until i know the sex, i wory that they will become rootbound, i assume this means that the plant will, once rootbound, never grow any bigger depsite putting it in a larger pot?
will this be the case?

My problem is I have no idea what you mean. Some strains will flower whether you change the light cycle or not. There are not a lot of those.

Uhhh...What?? Your are going to leave six seeds germinating until you can determine thier sex???

if i leave them in the small cups 2"x2"x3" until i know the sex, i wory that they will become rootbound,
Uhhh....if you try to leave them in 2" or 3" pots until you can determine thier sex they will be dead first.

No, they will already be dead.

Sorry we weren't sitting in front of our computers from 4:00 to 6:00 on the fourth of July to answer any well thought out questions you might ask. I would guess most people were confused about the information you provided. VV

yes the point is that Auto flowering plants AUTO flower meaning they go into flowering in 2/3 weeks wether i change the light cycle or not, i didnt mean germing the seed till i can determin the sex, bad wording on my part sorry,
and they only grow to about a foot anyway so assumed small pots would be alright...and why would they die from being in a small pot? wouldnt they just grow to a certain size and stay that way? which is the question i was asking...
sorry for any misunderstanding of my part
