Hey guys, I am looking to purchase two pairs of glasses for my grow room as the light is extremely bright and its a pretty small room. I dont want to fork out so much cash for some Method 7s I am hoping to find a cheaper solution that does a great job at filtering any harmful LED spectrum. I see lots of choices to choose from but am not sure which one actually works. Hoping someone here has some experience with a good cheap alternative to the method 7s they dont mind sharing?

I dont think white LED produces much harmful UV type radiation so Id guess that any polarized sunglasses would be fine. There are some glasses that make it less 'icky' to work in a blurple environment, but this is unnecessary under white lights.

i have some polarized ray-bans! i would love to be able to use those since that would mean i won't have to shell out more money. and i will look good too in the grow room! But i do have a 400 watt HPS lamp i might use as supplemental lighting. Should i get eye protection just for that 400 watt HPS lamp?

No need just dont look at them directly, but if they are up high and you cant avoid it... Get some dollar store sunglasses.
