ok so everything is going ok, unfortunately the cupboard with the roadrunners is definitely too small, and as said earlier, i had troubles with nutrients with the roadrunner 2, so ill just focus on this one roadrunner 1 plant that is doing really good in my opinion, she was always right under the panel and i think she shows quite well the potential of the led panel, she will be ready in 2 weeks i think.

i will put better pictures in the next update

*

the cupboard :

once this grow is over which should be in 2-3 weeks i will put the led panel in another growbox where ive germinated some orange bud from dutch passion regular feminised.

she germinated quite well and was switched today in 12/12, it is very early but i dont want to have a plant thats too tall, i only have like 1m headroom. she is currently veging under a 125w cfl 6400k, and feeding on general hydroponics flora series and will be switched to plagron hydro as soon as blooming starts.

ec 1.3
ph 6.0

the growroom is 40*40*1.40m which is quite cramped but better than nothing and it should be enough, plus i think its more ineresting to have a real plant rather than dwarf auto's for this test.

i like to use the air pump touching the stem, the vibrations help strzngthen the stem.

the dinachem is doing really good, ive been using aptus regulator for 2 weeks and am happt with the result, the plant drinks less water and seems more healthy, i just hope she will stop growing now because i dont have a lot of height left.
i will start using green sensation next week, right now i am using hydro a + b but im no longer following the recommended feeding schedule which is 1:1 of A and B, im using 1:2, i feel theres abit too much nitrogen when following the recommended feeding schedule and NOT using green sensation, when i will start usong it i will return to 1:1 ratio since green sensation is npk 0.9.10.

as for the leds themselves, once again im very staisfied, plants look great and are very healthy, and i can feel that flowering will be very good.

i just hoped i could do a better review with the roadrunners in soil, but i just suck with soil so it will be only hydro from now.

weekly update, everything going smoothly, the raodrunners will be chopped next week, the trichomes are cloudy, and i started flushing 1 week ago.
the roadrunner 1 did ok, but the roadrunner 2 were too tall, and too close to the lampe so results are not representative.
here are some pictures :

roadrunner 2

roadrunner 1 :

the dinachem is doing great, i started using green sensation. she starts to smell, not very diesel like, more fruity, orange-y type of smell.

ec : 1.8
ph : 6.0

and finally the orange bud, is also growing very quick, she was set on 12/12 last week, alors i have decided to get rid of the grow box, it was too small, so now i have the full cupboard which is 70/40 and 140cm height.
as soon as the roadrunners are cut i will use the 300w led panel
on the left there is some basil and mint

ec : 1.19
ph 6.0

weekly update despite the lack of answers :(

dinachem is flowering nicely i think she has at the very least 5 weeks to go but i think she will be ready in 6.

plagron hydro a + b and green sensation at 10ml/10l , aptus regulator at 2ml/10l, i will stop using green sensation when the bud stop growing which should be in a month and will then start aptus k-boost ( excellent to get rock hard buds)

ec 1.9
ph 5.9

the orange bud is doing great, i put the led pannel 6 day ago, im used to very fast growth in dwc, but this one is very very quick!!! i switched to 12/12 2 weeks ago, i aslo sprouted a white widow seed ( dinafem) that is growing in plagron royal mix and this tim i will use mineral ferts ( i hate soil and i hate even more soil + organics...)

ec : 1.2
ph 6.0

update next week, advice is welcome regarding using aptus k boost and green sensation at the same time or not ( dosage etc...)

I had a "400w" Roleadro... It didn't last a month, both cobs cracked. Worst LED I've ever owned.

hi!

i have no idea, it might be worth it to try to use warranty to get a replacement part, and once you have it its simple to repair it, just a few screws and 4 cable to connect as you can see on the pic.

but yeah that sucks :(

ec : 1.6 (hydro A and B, regulator, and green sensation)

orange bud is grwoing very fast, first pistils appeared 2 days ago, she is still quite low and very bushy and i hope she will stay that way,im using aptus regulator at maximum recommended dose 3ml/10l to tighten internodes.

ec : 1.5
ph: 6.0

thewhite widow is quite slow in comparison, imwatering very 5days il will water more from now on.

hi everyone!

things are going along nicely, the white widow is growing quite slowly, im watering verey 4 days with PH'd water, i will start feeding whren the first pistils will show.

==============================================================================================================

the orange bud is growing really good, and still very very bushy, i think the aptus regulator is working well keeping internodes very tight, the first pistils appeared last week and there are more and more but since i switched to 12/12 very early ( 10 days after germination) i think she will really start to flower in only about 1 week at least.

ec : 1.4
ph 6.2

==================================================================================

dinachem is also doing great she is budding nicely, i hope she will keep gaining weight this way for at least 2 more weeks even though she already looks fat.

ec : 1.9 (hydro A and B, regulator, k-boost and green sensation) i will lower the ec tomorrow if it is too much
ph : 6.2

nice job jrock I don't do well with soil either I'm using the gh 3- part nutes I have no experience with the nutes you're using I'm looking at the 800 w. roleadro that is like your 400w
but doubled up & a friend recently got 2 vipar led's & im watching his grow as well by Christmas I'm gonna have one of these affordable led's if it breaks I'll do a little research & fix/upgrade it you are doing what I wasn't bold enough to do so all I can say is thanks for a on well done

thanks man!

yeah soil is complicated to me, too much guess work. GH is good but i think it is outdated, more recent nutrients are better, ive also tried canna and hesi nutrients, very very good and better in my opion than GH, but its still extremely good value for money.
im very happy with plagron i will make a detailed review at the end of the grow.

as for the leds i know some other growers that bought them and are,nt experiencing any issues, and overall they have goods review on amazon, of course there might be some bad ones but chances seem reasonnably low.

I'm wanting the 800w. 4 bulb it's like the 2 bulb you're running X-2 I'm using a blend of gh & soul synthetic right now my scrog is 29x29 & my stand under it can accommodate 2 waterfarms currently running a single under a 400w hps was looking at he roleadro on Amazon & I think I'm gonna get it 4 X- mas image.jpegimage.jpeg

yenice!

as far as i am concerned im very happy with it, i think with a different strain i could get bigger buds, this one doesnt seem to be a heavy yielder but its not over yet and the buds are the size of a pool ball :)

how do you change your res water with the scrog?

My stand is high enough to drain my res into gallon jugs there is a drain hose on the side of my waterfarm that doubles as a nutrient level indicator it's actually pretty simple

nice!

i had a watefamr a few years ago, theyre rpetty good but i prefere full dwc, its cheaper and i get better yields, only downside is i have to keep temperatures down because of root rot, but in a way if your grow room is too hot for dwc its also too hot for cannabis...

ive had some bud rot on one of the main stalk, luckily it hasnt spread a lot so i just cut the infected bud and all is good now

the 400w cob performs well, growing stage was ok, maybe a little less compared to a 400w mh but im almost sure now that it was the genetics of this plant.
the lamp is quite noisy to my taste, way less than a normal sized extractor but i would say it is loud as a noisy computer ( fan noise)
luckily you can very easily open the panel and wire the fans in series instead of parallel, this way they run at 6v and are very silent.
i think reaplcement pc fans is a great choice they are way cooler and more efficient.
other than that it doesnt get too hot, and the build quality is really good for this price

the 300w panel was also quite satisfatory, in growing stage, there was no excessive strech at all, the grow speed is perfect, a powerful mh lamp might be better if you have really big plants in growing stage.
this panel vas quite noisy new, louder than the 400w cob, you could again wire the fans ins series , this way they get very quiet, as for me i wired a pc fan speed controller, i always set it quite low and the panel stays warm but not hot.

the biggest upside of those lamps are of course heat, they produce a little, the 300w is like a 125w cfl in terms of heat and the 400w cob like a 200w cfl, so perfectly manageable.

as you can see from the pictures they are performing really really well, the value for money is in my opinion absolutely unbeatable.

so, we had problems with image hosting so i just put the results here, with some pictures from along the grow so you guys can see the evolution :)

125 grams, with less than 190w of power consumtion, and its easily possible to get better resuklts with a larger grow room ( mine is tiny) and LST, but i think its nice to see the result on a less than optimised plant...

i think the results will shut yp more than a few idiots here saying chinese pannels are crap, i was really happy with this one, and will post a review thread in the lighting section

I have 2 of the roleadro 300w and 2 of the roleadro 400w cob. For the price these things have been amazing. Personally I like the 400w cobs better. It seems to have a much fuller spectrum. I'm using them for veg on their own with great results and to supplement a 1K HPS bulb in a flowering tent and I've been loving the results so far.
hi man! i have 2, 400 COB so 800W, what distance do you usually have ur 400w on? i put mine at 5feet just to calm them down a bit n let recover
