Hey man there are some good ones out there and then there are some bad ones aswell.

THE GOOD THING IS...............

They have come way down in price since the last time I have looked at them. I may get some panels aswell. Didnt relize how cheap they acually were getting.

supplemental side lighting. Have to give emm a try.

Based on a couple of models I've tested in the last 2 grows. I've settled on these: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Reflector-450W-Led-Grow-Light-Growth-Flower-Switches-Plant-LED-Grow-Lamp-Panle-/160874996138?pt=US_Hydroponics&hash=item2574e5a1aa. The one you linked to doesn't look like it would have sufficient bands, I've noticed some of these really cheap one's lately (like the one you linked to) with only red/blue/2 bands. I'd be a little nervous about going that low end but then again at that price they're cheap enough to try. hell at that price I might try some for supplementary/side lighting but I doubt these will be as effective as 7/9 band panels. I can vouch for the one's I linked to, running a small one (150W) side by side with the 405W I originally started with (which grew my plants ut very well). It's outperforming it, have the 150W over one flowering plant and it's taking off ahead of the other 2 plants covered by the 405W panel. Happy enough with these (linked above) that I've ordered another 150W to go in my clone/mother tent (2x150W), and a 450W to go into my new room for next grow (will be running the 405W+450W to grow 8 plants). At these prices I'm willing to try them, if you got one decent grow out of them, they've paid for themselves. Here's a pic, proof is in the pudding and all that, these things work, and not just work, they work well. Would never considering switching to any other form of lighting. No heat, no noise, grow your plants fast, $40/month average in total energy costs to run a closet grow with 3 good sized plants, what's not to like?

Like I said, what's not to like :) I'm going to order a couple of the one's you linked to and try them as side lighting, 2 for $60 delivered to my door, are you serious? If they don't work well with growing MJ, I'll filter them and use them to light up my music room, play guitar under them, pshycadelic man - lol.

Ya I will try the cheaper ones first. For a panel that costs 300+ Ill just go buy another HPS/MH. 30 bucks down the tubes is much better then 300+.

All I want to use them for is supplemental lighting anyways.

If they fail. They would be used for mood lighting....lol Might be nice in the bedroom. :hump:

ganja that Panel only has 15W, i think rule of thumb is 50-100W per plant. Not to mention they totally will lack light Penetration. Looks like 3cent/Piece 20mA 15years old leds...

Don't go near them, I purchased one few years ago for sidelighting and they blow after about 3 weeks row by row, see what the dodgy LED manufacturers do is overdrive them in the factory to make them look really bright when you first plug them in but in reality they are rapidly degrading by the hour.

£16.99 for an LED; If it sounds too good to be true...scary thing is they sell thousands every day and who actually sends them back shortly afterwards when they fuck up, I mean it will cost you the best part of £16.99 to post back now that royal mail is privatized!

save your cash and put it towards a reputable LED company with 3 years warranty, most reliable brands do this.
