Cheap way to raise humidity?

I have some babies in cups. RH is 42% and I need to get to 60%.

I am in a drier area. I am trying a Vicks 1 gallon of water steamer. It can run 24 hours. It requires a pinch of freaking salt to steam well. I am concerned about spewing salty steam and it does not steam to well.

Any cheaper suggestions are appreciated. Also best RH for Flower, Big Veg and baby veg. Thanks.

In Flowering, I keep my RH at 30% or lower. Veg I'm content with 50% - 75%. I hang wet towels in my tents if I need to raise RH. They dry out rather quickly however, so I spray the towels daily with water. Hope this helps.

I use an evaporative cooler with RO water (floor type not the window type), raises the humidity about 15% and drops the temps 1 or 2 degrees plus it helps with air circulation. I also supplement with the towel method.

hang a lot of towels and on the floor too, keep misting them or allow them to wick from somewhere. the more moist surface area, the higher the humidity. 42% is tolerable, i would not sweat it unless it goes below 30 consistently

Im glad you said this i have been having an issue with temp/rh control. If i keeps my temps around 80 my rh goes down to 41% roughly i can raise my rh by turning off my carbon filter but it makes my temps get around 90-92 so i keep it on with a vent open at the bottom to suck in fresh air and keep the temp down although by doing this is pull my rh down as well if i pull the filter my rh will rise to about 80% and my temps rise to around 90 (as stated above). Is 41% rh going to be enough for plants in thier second week. I just gave them their first dose of big bloom yesterday so they are super young. Maybe im over thinking it but so far the hardest thing has been keeping my temps and rh steady and learning how to best manipulate said conditions. I know that they like higher rh until flowering stages at that point my rh would be perfect almost just wondering if it is ok now

Ultrasonic fogger!
Cheap.
I keep one in my veg tent with a fan that circulates the fog.
I keep it on 15 min on 45 off.
