Check it out! Mars Hydro Cup - Week 1 Flower

Hey everyone. I'm growing using a few mars hydro lights then saw a post about their mars hydro cup contest so figured I might as well enter since I fit the criteria! I wasn't expecting to do it but considering I just switched to flower, the timing works out quite well as we can skip veg for the most part (I'll post a few pics so you can see) and get straight to the goods over the next few weeks. I'd like to start by saying I'm no expert and am growing in less than ideal conditions (in my room in a tent which isn't meant for growing) but I've found ways to make it work. Lets get to the details:

4 Mars Hydro sp250 lights
2 likesuns blurple supplemental lights (added at flower bc I have them from a previous grow and figured wouldn't hurt)

There are 8 plants. The 4 closest to the opening are supposed to be 'grape ape' and the back 4 are supposed to be 'zkittlez'. The reason I say 'supposed to be' is because the clones weren't obtained from the most official of sources so we'll just have to trust them and see what happens. They were vegged for 4 weeks. Below I'll post a pic, one per week up until now (week 1 flower) so you can see, along with a quick minute long video showing you what's going on. Thanks for reading/watching and if you have any questions, fire away!

Funny story how it came together. I'm a painter and bought this 'shed' so I could have a space to spray paint stuff for work(cabinets etc) at my place. I used it for a bit but when covid hit, work dwindled and it kinda of just sat empty and I wasn't working much so I decided to re-purpose it into a grow tent. It has a metal frame but the material is like a tarp...its not opaque, meaning light can get through, but I lined the inside with mylar, which is what you see. It very DIY. Been adding things as I go but it works quite well which is all I can ask for. @SpawnOfVader

@Growbrielhp87 Thanks man. I do it every couple weeks with no set schedule. If I look and see too many overlapping leaves or it just seems to be getting a little out of hand, I go at it. As long as the plant is healthy, it always responds positively to receiving more light by getting rid of the shadows the bigger leaves cast.

Fine work you put in there soldier. Not only do you have an impressive yield to look forward to your plants look lush and healthy. Clearly you've got your routine dialed in. Sell some dope and setup tent #2 next :)
