I have this northern lights that I have been kind of experimenting with. I have kept it in its original 4" pot since it has germinated. I wanted to see if a 4" pot would be able to grow it for 2 months. Well its been 2 months now, it seems to have stopped growing, this may be due to limited root space...not too sure. I would feed it and then flush with 1 liter of water every night. At 2 weeks of age I started feeding it every second watering with 1/4 strength 20-20-20. At 3 weeks I upped the dose to 1/2 strength and used for every watering. At 1 month I was up to full strength every watering about 4 times a day. 5 weeks 1 and 1/4 strength 4 times a day. and so on. right now its 2 months and it gets 2 times strength 4 times a day.
I could probably keep doing this but I am not going to be able to water it and take care of it as I was doing. I'll probably transplant it into a 3 gallon pot or something. It still hasn't showed sex. Also again maybe because of such a small root mass. Hopefully its a female.:blsmoke::blsmoke:
Anyways just wanted to show yaz what kind of progress I have made with this experiment. Too bad I cannot keep this up.

ya being the outdoors the soil dries out fairly quick. the roots drink it up fairly quick, after soaking the soil ,3 hours later the soil is really dry.
Ya I think it would like the ground better than a 3 gallon pot eh. think it'll be going in the ground tonight.

Well I have since transplanted this plant into a 3 gallon pot. It has grown quite rapidly in the last 2 weeks. HE IS close to 4 ft now. Grew a foot a week. Good genetics. It is from my seed batch 2 years ago. Northern lights1 X hasplant. Started showing sex this week and it showing definate male flowers. WHICH REALLY BLOWS!!!!! Why does the best looking plants always end up being male?
Would have got a QP of it if only he was a she. DAMMIT!
What a waste of homemade compost. Well he's off to the composting bin now to make me some more. FUCK!
HAHA well anywayz just wanted to share and rant a bit.

Ya, It was not my only plant, just the one I picked to stay on my property. It had such even branching and good pest resistance, maybe I'll keep a couple pollen sacs. Good luck trying to find this strain. Accidently made seeds one year Northern lights fem and hashplant male, they got harvested too early so the germination rate is crap(one in 10-15) will actually germinate. but when you have so many seeds, you can still germ enough to keep the strain alive!
thanx for the luck for next year. get pounds not ounces, hahaha
