Cheesequake and Deep Purple

Hello Everyone,

I am starting my first grow and bought a 5-pack of Deep Purple and a 5-pack of Cheesequake. I was wondering if anyone else has grown either of these two strains and pheno-selected. I'm not sure what to look for... I have a month or a month and a half before I can clone and determine sex blah blah blah but, I'd like a little info. TGA's site offers 0 information about the fact. If he does I'm missing it.

TGA (Aka Subcool420) has a youtube page, maybe you can find information on there? or maybe even ask him. he makes a 30+ minute video every 2-3 days. very active....

deep purple has alot of purple urkle phenotypes, they veg slower than the rest, quality is high. the cheesequake is an f1 hybrid, selection is up to you. whatever pheno you like best keep it.

I just recently subscribed and searched. He has alot of Weed Nerd episodes, not much on the info though. I could be missing it.

Traits i noticed from cheesequake, fast vegger, grapey/cheesey smell. good yield on the cheese pheno's. if you get a girl with alot of vigor she's likely cheese dom, the smells range from grape danish all the way to grape skunky funk. i think Cheesequake is superior to the Deep purple but the DP is more stable for sure when it comes to phenotypes.

If everyone's interested I'll keep this thread going and phenoselect with your guy's help. Let you know my set-up a bit and I'll be open to all opinions as this is my first grow. I'll take pics of my seedlings in the morning, pretty tired.

Temp and humidity, 30 jedi kush cuttings that are ready to transplant. One of my stalks from Deep Purple ( they all look like that.) And my RO reservoir that I built.

I've got a crazy potent, strong cheese smelling phenotype of cheese quake I got from my buddy.

It grows kinda spindly, and needs a major support structure. IE weak stems, HuGE buds. 7 1/2 week flower time.

Great for SCROG as it hardly stretches during flower, and needs the extra support.

One of my all time favorite smokes. When I crack the jar, it smells like a cheese Danish.

I ran a 5 pack of CQ and got 3 females. The largest and heaviest was my least favorite of the 3 unfortunately but this was strictly due to personal taste. The middle girl was a clear mix of the 2 and as everyone calls it, cheese danishy. My favorite was just slightly lower yielding than the middle girl, but DARK purple and SUPER frosty. Dense buds and tasted like Arizona GRAPE DRANK SON! Had every bit of taste that Querkle had, but the cheese gave it a bit more of a lift. Lost the clone of this keeper when I left town for a week and I VERY much wish I had this one back! Will definately try the Deep Purple soon as I run through some of what I have now and I'll be looking for grapes baby! Can't wait to see the DP finish out!
