and so i found one of the bb buds to have bud rot ffs. chopped it, and removed the damaged part. i got to say that, its dense as fuck!!! im just so worried for the humidity and the rain here, aint good for outdoor for sure.
Dunno how I missed this post! Fuck!!!!!!!! Never had rot so dunno what to look for, was it easy to notice? Such a shame man let’s hope the rest of them finish up without problems dude. Keep at it! Whats happening with the little baby you started if I remember correctly? Still going for august?

chop earlier rather than later when dealing with rot. cloudy and no amber is better than cutting your crop in half and also risking missing mold spots and smoking it

if it only happened on a big bud consider a staged harvest, leaving the smaller buds to ripen longer because they will be less likely to rot

looking good!

thanks for checking! yeah, im monitoring the situation, and really considering executing what you've said! such a shame... but at the bright side, the bud that ive chopped and fast dried on my boiler is lets say, awesome lol just tastes like shit without curing and proper drying.

ill be chopping the BB tomorrow, some signs of the mould on another bud as well, cant risk it any more. plus, its great smoke tbh, excluding the shit taste which is a result of the fast drying.

as @Nizza said, ill be chopping the tops only, it appears the rot occurs on the tops, not on the lower buds, so ill give them some more time. looks like the BB is more prone to diseases then the AB. touching wood, the AB looks ok and in better condition after all the setbacks, like accidental topping, critters, everything.IMG_20200714_184413[1].jpgIMG_20200714_184406[1].jpgIMG_20200714_184350[1].jpg

oh well sorry for that it's not your fault, at all, it's not warm enough this super "sunny" summer... as for the recognition of budrot, on big colas etc... yeah those sugarleaves tell you... if just one or a few behave differently, suddenly getting yellowish, and dying - pull at it, sharply observe mold spore "fog", and sniff at the stalk of the plucked out sugar leaf...

you did a good job on the trimming, I'm lazy with trimming and leave a lot more sugar leaves than you have.

be sure to let us know how they smoke after drying
Yeah, I like a good trim mate, smoking mostly flowers lol. I think there will be big difference in the smoke since I've tried the first bud that had rot on it(I've chopped the damager parts lol) and it was also quick dried in a towel on my boiler. So, at least in the taste there will be huge difference, dunno what difference 6 days will make in the high tho, but as I've mentioned before, the effect is quite good. Thanks for checking my man :peace::joint:
