Just thought I'd share with everybody what this girl did. She hit 22.01% THC and .23% CBD. CBN was .47%. i got these results only using roots 707 organic soil and the fox farm trio (not the solubles). She had a 4 week veg and went 9 weeks and 3 days of flower under a 600 watt hps. FWIW, I would still never grow this strain again. Not at ALL resistant to powder mold. Other than pineapple express this had the least amount of resistance of any strain I've grown. Nevertheless, it is capable of hitting high thc percentage and it does infact make great hash.

Actually all of our data indicates that its quite resistant to Mildew as a line. I have seen it in a room of mildew almost un scathed.

Mold and Mildew are all about environmental control we manage many grow rooms and up to 30 strains and we dont have mold or mildew or bugs its a question of control.

Now I am not questioning the grower if he says his chernobyl got mildew then it did but with proper air flow, humidity and temperature it would not.

If youd like some help fine tuning your rooms I would be happy to help.

does anybody know what causes a PLANT to be more resilient then other plants to mold/mildew? i have a full understanding of what causes it, having problems with it in the past (really sucked, very heartbreaking to see a alot of meds ruined after so many weeks! but time heals :) )

i have learned alot from subcools threads about airflow , im sure you can google it if you can't find it through a forum search engine, tga is the bee's knee's 8)

Yes some people dont get it and are all freaked out about the name
Hemp was used to help clean up the contamination and I kinda thought instead of thinking of a terrible tragedy maybe when someone said the word theyd think of a great weed.
Regardless thats what we named it and were sold out of it due to its potency and taste not its name :)

My experience has been that even with a perfect environment the pm still got to it. It wasn't out of control, but it was there. I program my sentinel to keep temps at 76 all the time and rh at 30-35. I have great airflow. But, alas, after using greencure, neem oil, diluted milk, serenade and 1 or 2 others it still would appear every few days. I've bleached every square inch of the grow room. Still no help.

Sub, I started 4 beans a few hours ago.
How long should I let Chernobyl go for a "sit-you-on-your-ass" high ?

I have a few of Sub's strain in the cabinet & find that the Chernobyl is last to get any mold or PM if at all & can attest to the fact that they are very resistant to both so I would recheck you surroundings

Good luck

No, I'm pretty sure Chernobyl just isn't very resilient to whatever specific strain of pm is in my geographic location..we do have a lot of orchards and vineyards which I'm assuming is a large culprit of pm here. It's not like Chernobyl is the only strain I'm growing. I have several other strains to compare to (violator Kush, killawatt, tahoe OG, master Kush, flo, and a very dank green crack bagseed) in the same rooms that do not get pm outbreaks nearly as bad/at all or as often as Chernobyl does.

WHY ARE YOU YELLING?

lol, ive grown 3 of his strains and found a couple keepers with just a couple beans, best ratio iv ever had from a seed breeder.

Intensive, weve become about the biggest company these days especially in the medical community.
People that know what there doing and that work hard get amazing results others with little skill and who are willing to put forth minimum effort are always the ones blaming great genetics for their failures.
I have see 60 lamp grows packed full of TGA in CO and Cali run by actually agricultural people with stellar results and no PM in a building the size of a hockey rink

I can generally tell all this by how someone post in a forum.

If our gear wasn't proven we wouldnt be sold out of 11 of our strains.

ALL OF SUBS STRAINS ARE PRONE TO pm,IVE GROWN 7 OF HIS STRAINS,CHERNOBYL AND JTR ARE THE ONLY TWO STRAINS i WOULD GROW AGAIN
sounds to me like its your environment, i havnt had any PM from his strains, and there are hundreds of grow journals on numerous tga strains that will go against your theory/opinion man...

If you guys are getting PM and/or mold invest in a duhumidifier. It's what I had to do in my room as the humidity was approaching 70%. I have it hovering around 45-55% now, and shockingly... No mold or mildew ever again. Genetics is 90% of your

Gotta agree with TheExpress, TGA does need more hard hitting Indica dominate strains.
Sub, I understand your breeder and business sense when it come to supreme tasting dank.
But you also have to not be so personal with your decisions.
Give the people want they want, even if you have to give in a little.
We all know you could take some OG Kushes and make some fire.
I know you're making a good living by doing what YOU want to do.
But it could be better...................................
