We have 6 backyard chickens in a coop. Would their poop made into a tea be a good fertilizer?

Just a newbie here,and i'm sure this propably has been said but rotten fish work great !!
i found out by accident,I fish alot and forgot about a bucket of minnows for about 2 weeks
when i realized this the minnows had pretty much dissolved into a nasty slurry.so what do I do? I had 4 plants on the patio In pots, so i dumped the "juice" Into two of the 4 pots and within 10 days It was incredible! the difference was HUGE !!
This was the only time I did this (plants were still young) I was afraid of a funky taste.The other two plants never came close to the size of the fish pots..
