Chinese LEDs from ebay

I'm a new grower extremely interested in LED growing. Everything so far has said
that the best are Cree LEDs; however, I am curious as to the quality of the LEDs
which can be purchased from Chinese manufacturers.

People have complained that some Chinese LEDs do not concern themselves
about heat, but on ebay you can also buy finned heat sinks made for the lights.

I've also contacted a manufacturer, and got the data sheets for his red, white
and blue LEDs, they are attached at the end.

In short, is it alright to buy Chinese LEDs? What are the main downsides?

a lot of them are 1 W led, 1 W are fine depending on your expectation and can be kept very close to the plants... they are good for 1 or 2 plants. however ordering from China can be a pain if you got problems with your lights. Right now I am using FERO lights, I am in canada and they have 5 years warranty. Depending where you live, there are different brands out there... I would say china cheap lights arent the way to go anyway

All of these are actually 3 watts, I had the datasheets attached for them, but they were removed.

I'm in Canada as well, what would a few good brands to look in to be?
