chop the smaller plant?

should i chop down the smaller plant? its newest leave are coming out brown around the edges and a bit shriveld up. they ar bothe also both in the same pot but with the bottom choped of. i no this is bad but i didnt no any better when i first planted them i did not expect them to do so well.
this is them out in the woods

it doesn't look too bad... maybe since they are so close you can train them away from eachother so that they both get as much sun as possible... but it doesn't look to bad, i'd keep it in

i think there'd be enough for them to still grow out and about... these plants send off the roots in every direction, so i don't thikn you'll have to worry about much stunted growth...

but if you are REALLY worried about that while training the plants there is a way to cut away some of the outside of the stem, apply a rooting hormone and surround with a little package of dirt around it, and in about 2 weeks you'll have a little root mass that you can bury in the ground, thus giving one or both of your plants another rooting location...https://www.rollitup.org/view.php?pg=faq&cmd=article&id=195
