You're take on the republican party is Bush. Bush had horrible policies, and everyone knows it. Conservative republicans are what is going to take this country back. Values based on less taxes, less government influence and control, and less intervention. It's funny how Obama spent tax payer money campaigning for this guy, and when the results come out, the WH claims Obama wasn't paying attention to the results. I call bullshit.

That's never going to happen until all of these evil people like Bush, Limbaugh and Beck disassociate themselves from the Republican party or vice versa.

Conservative's already have disaccociated themselves from the republican party. More and more of them are becoming independents and libertarians. The republican party is not what it used to be. Until it comes back to its conservative roots, I don't think anyone wants anything to do with it.
That's better than what can be said about the democrats. They've gone as far as to attack anyone who disagrees with them. Obama has tripled the defecit since being in office, and Americans are getting sick of paying taxes for things they don't agree with.

True, the Republican party is dead and obsolete. The only political future for Conservatives is to completely distance themselves form the past, form a new party, and then hope like hell the American people forget about the last 8 years.

i do and these neocons are just desperate. corzine was an unpopular governor so the swing voters responded. its just that simple. these people who believe that nj went through some magical political shift because of obama are just retarded.
also his defeat was not "shocking". everyone here knew it was a toss-up.
What NeoCons are you speaking of? I think the NeoCons are shaking in their boots just like the Democrats are over these elections and the reawakening of the silent majority.

This election wasn't about Democrats or Republican NeoCons ... it was about turning toward a more libertarian/conservative representation in our government.
