Christmas In July

Welcome to my grow journal. This will be my 5th crop this year. This one will be from seed as usual. Enjoy and watch the progress!

Seeds: various non sexed seeds, bag seed. 3 seeds selected (all have tiger stripes)
Germination Process: paper towel, in a ziploc, under the hot cable TV box
Lighting: will be CFL
Medium: soil only
Location: indoor only

7/29/2010: Day one of the grow. Placed the three various bagseeds in the ziploc bag with a soaked paper towel. sealed it up, and put it under the cable modem (it gets very hot, and will provide plenty of heat to germinate these seeds). usually put them under the cable television box, but this will work just fine as well, maybe better since its warmer. thats it, nothing really to report! stay tuned for the germination, photos, and further progress with this grow.

7/30/2010: Exactly 24 hours later, two of the three seeds have cracked and have a nice white root. going to soil tomorrow, since I don't know enough about hydro to do a hydro grow yet (and I have been growing for over a decade now - too lazy to learn). soil it is.

8/1/2010: Transferred the two seeds that had roots, to soil. One of them went outside, cause its been hot and humid and the location is in direct sun so it should be up soon. the other one is inside, and under a CFL for the time being until it gets above the soil line.
