Chronic Powdery Mildew

3rd run of plants in my new house in a tidal wetland area. 3rd batch of PM.
First run was in a greenhouse with no ventilation PM made sense.
Second run tried to keep VPD in line with Temps in small grow tent. Had RH set to 65% was told it was fine with lots of fans. Got PM still made sense.
3rd time keeping RH at 50% 2 small fans above the canopy and 2 below. And directly in front of a fan all the leaves had PM... wtf?! Literally in high airflow, low ambient RH

I think microclimates are my issue from packing too much plant in. I was trying to find the upper limits of the tent... think I found it?

These are clones at week 5 of flower with about 7 weeks left. Not a huge fan of the smoke off the mother. Should I cull?

I removed all parts that I saw with PM and applied Dr Zymes at lights off. Not sure I want to remove the light to spray every few days for the next 7 weeks... or infect my other tents.

Sorry for the rant. Thanks if you read this :)

What are you lights on and lights off temps? Make sure the fans aren’t blowing directly on the plants make them move air around them. I have best luck with passive air movement and keeping the day and night temps within 5 degrees of one another. Also maybe spray some green cure before you flip them. Also try to lower you humidity a bit will help but best thing I have found that helps is the temps. I use a ink bird with a small heater so it keeps it within a range I set on the ink bird. Best of luck PM sucks

That third pic says it all. The swings are too broad. Dial in the environment and it will correct itself.

7 wks is a long ass ride with PM. You'll spend more time battling than anything else. Your call though. If you decide to see it thru. use something to beat it back (citric, potassium bicarb) and then do a thorough clean-up. You're better off starting fresh from seed but if you do keep cuttings, dunk them.

I'm pretty torched right now so hopefully that all made sense.

Yea it really is a ling ass ride. Only thing stopping me from starting from scratch is what if I end up in the same position in 3 months?
What temp range should I aim for?
Using citric spray for now until mew seeds come tomorrow. Also did major defoliation and took a few buds off that were over crowded and def would have gotten PM. Hopefully with the new fan and all that amd temp adjustments I'll be good! Today no signs of PM

The nasty thing about PM is that once you have it, you're likely to get it again. You need to take great pains with cleaning and IPM after a PM infestation because it's everywhere. Some things you can do are to deep clean your grow room and lung room as best as you can, start up an aggressive IPM program with your next set of plants-treat them through veg with something weekly, neem/silica, biological fungicide, Regalia, etc, alternating them. A hepa air filter that exchanges the air several times per hour inside of your lung room is also a good investment. Also, if your room is not in a living area of your house, there are greenhouse ozone generators that do a good job of beating it back. Good luck! I've been there in the past and beat it-you just need to be diligent with cleaning and prevention.

Overall raise temp? Got a range I should stick to? I've been aiming for 68-75
What type lighting are you using? If it’s LED shoot for right around 80 lights on and keep lights off like 5 degrees cooler at lights off. If it’s achievable I know it’s sometimes hard to hold target temps

IMO, its not the temps or humidity. its your fans; poor airflow. yes, there is 4 of them, but they are weak.

something like a 9" honeywell below canopy would be great (target, walmart, etc)
an oscillating fan up top is ideal. figure out how to mount it. or you could put all 4 of your clip fans up top if you get a strong fan for below canopy to save some cash for now.

Yea I've legit spent more on fans than the whole setup. It's so hard finding a fan that checks all the bills for such a small tent. Have the new ac infinity 6in clip on oscilatimg fans coming today. Got 2, one for each tent probably need 2 per tent. Wanted to try them out first.
A 9" is way too big in this space unfortunately its only 20"x36". I do have one of those fans and it's a beast

Yea LED, the mars hydro tsw2000 cranked up to 100%. I think I can pull off 75-82 been keeping the house at 68 to keep it a bit lower but I don't mind cranking it up to 72 or so

Clean, air purifier in the breath room and an oscillating tower fan in the corner of your tent. I’ve had 1 of these a corner of each tent for awhile now and no pm anywhere ever (knock on wood)

Honeywell White Comfort Control Tower Fan, Slim Design, Powerful Cooling, 1 Pack https://www.amazon.com/dp/B007HIQZCA/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_i_VV8TWX5DVGHBDT9SM1GD?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
My old setup I had a tower fan and no PM too. Never wncountered it before growing in my new location. This tent is just too small for any "traditional" fans so seems like just gotta keep buying and trying until I get the right combo :(

I am dealing with it indoor also with RH@30%. Once the "spores" get in the air they are difficult to eradicate. I have been diligent spraying every 3 days with Neem oil (dynagro), not the green oily crap they are selling on Amazon. Pure cold pressed Neem is considered organic, is tan in colour and solidifies at lower temps. Mix 1 oz. Neem with 2 qts. warm water and a couple drops of pure castile soap as emulsifier to mix. Spray all surfaces of leaves only, not developing buds with lights off. Soil can also be sprayed. I use a pressurized sprayer and shake contents a lot while spraying to keep mixed. It leaves a glossy shine on the leaves and inhibits PM growth on leaf surface. Once PM is already on the plant, you have the only option of garbage, not compost. Wash every surface of grow room with bleach or whatever to kill spores and start over. Do not dry PM pot in your house.
