Hey there Team!

This is an old stomping ground that i used 2 years ago. Thought i would give it another go for the season ahead. Actually found a dead 'stick' that was about 7 foot tall that was one of my weed plants once upon a time. Had a bit of dead foliage hanging off it. i left a few plantz after we harvested.

It is a little late, but has just started to warm up in the last week. That is usually my que to get my ass into gear.

Hike is a about a 20 minute into bush. Spot is nicely surrounded by fallen trees to make a nice private area.

Just prepped the ground yesterday:

Looking down on my work. Soil lookz ripe for the plantin'...

Left a little of the natural scrub around the freshly dug area to disguise from bogus bogans...

After digging the crap out of my little area. Dug in a healthy dose of Lime, Blood and Bone and Sheep Pellets.

About a 1 and a half hour dig.

Havent put up any fencing yet and not sure what i will use. Any ideas?

Had a few seeds that were starting to get a bit old so i figured i would use them.

Seeds i have are Royal seeds 'Special Kush #1' and 'Special Queen #1', Greenhouse Seeds 'Kalashnikova' and 'Big Bang' and a few random bag seeds. Hope to have about 20 seedlings pop and get out to the patch.

Currently seeds are under LED makeshift setup. (58 watts total power). About 1 week old. Germinated (and germinating) in Peat pellets and planted in 530 gram party cups, with Debco 'Pot power' potting mix.

Probably plant out in about 3 weeks. They should be bursting to go by then! (me hopes!)

Should be a interesting season... :)

As for fencing.. just a roll of decent chicken wire from bunnings would do the job..

Thanks man. Yeah was thinking about that. Ended up getting 1m high shade cloth instead. Will be leaving a wide berth, as to not block the light. Will also dig it into the ground a bit. Gonna be a brutal 2 trek trip....! :)

Another pointless pic, inside the newly finished cabinet...

Notice the mutant 'Kalashnikova' closest to the camera....apparently quite common in this strain. The other 4 look fine.

So after a bit of a mish, got all 19 of my plants in the ground.

The lime, blood and bone and sheep pellets had all combined nicely and the soil was easy to work over....prep work is so worth it! :)

Half way into the trek i found that my 2 litre water container had sprung a leak....my ass got pretty wet! :)

Not a single breakage to any of the plants, although they were looking a little beat up.

Planning the planting and spacing.

Good healthy roots...about spot on time wise to plant them out.

About the average size of plants.

This 'Kalashikova' is a mutant. But it has 3 main stems coming from it...i will be watching this one...

And planting done! Added a bit of high strength slow release fertilizer. (blue/purple dots)

Also put up a shade cloth/fence so i hope it keeps the nasties out. (2nd trip in) Sorry i didnt get any pix of it, but i was in a hurry by that stage.

Next time up there will be about 4 weeks, just in time for sexing.

So i checked on the 23rd of December ...and it turns out that animals had nailed alot of my plants to nothingness.....despondent i returned home defeated.

Then i headed out about a month after that and discovered there was still life in the plot! :) Ripped out the males, and fenced better. Bought some Fert up a couple of days later. (didnt have my camera) Salvage something i hope.

So today i took up 6 x 'Purple Haze' clones from my cabinet grow. No animal damage! I figured they will stretch abit and go straight into flower. (Will be bringing up 6-8 more clones next week) Im banking on the fact that it will be a long season...and if it isnt then its no loss really as everything seems to be a bonus at the moment. :)

The biggest and best of what was left. Been flowering for about a week.

So i just harvested my outdoor crop....knew it was going to be pretty crap...(an ounce or so) but one little gem that stuck out was a lone black strain....i have never seen anything this dark...pity i couldnt get better photos of it to do it justice.

Well i wasnt going to let this one get away so i have attempted to do my 1st clone on a all flowering plant....

Take a look....
