ChuckNice Rides Again

Been a while! Mostly been outdoor for the past couple of years, but winter and these new LED's got back inside. This go-round I'm running some Blue Dream SCC, Grape Ape from Darkheart, and some Lumpy's Apple Fritter. I'm in a semi-sealed room off my office, running ebb and gro buckets, under a Mammoth Mint 880. I converted the light to run long ways instead of square. For light spread the coverage for the space couldn't be better. First run with this setup so we will see how it goes!

Hey! This can't be a community journal until you send me seeds to distribute to the community! It's a bylaw somewhere!

Nice strains, cool space and light and your plants are on point.
:D Ha! Updated the title after realizing what a community journal is. Suffice to say, comments are welcome! If I do a seed run @shnkrmn I'll be sure to send a few your way.

First day of flip for these ladies. The Blue Dream is absolutely packing the closet. The fritter has been recovering from nute lockout, or I woulda flipped like 3 weeks sooner. It turns out you should probably calibrate ph pens that haven't been used in over a year. The lessons we learn!
:D Conditions are 85F 65rh and 1000ppm Co2. Mammoths are at 45% right now, and getting fed around 800ppm of Jacks 321.

One week since the flip and it's a jungle! Pre-flowers are showing and the ladies are drinking plenty of water. The smell is starting to hit me at the top of my basement steps! The only issue right now is that I'm getting some condensation in the corners of the room so a new dehumidifier is on the way.

Week 5! Colas are coming along nicely. Had some calcium deff/burn show up on the Blue Dream & Grape Ape but hot damn the Apple Fritter is taking it like a champ. Last res fill was more like Jack's 3-2.5-1 and lowered ppms from 1100 to 800. Mammoths are up to 65% running at 1500 ppfd, co2 at 1200, humidity 58rh, daylight temp is 88f, night time set at 77f.

The BD cut just has that smell. It's one of my favorites and every time I bump a bud it just gushes. Very excited for some nice mellow smoke there. The fritter though I can tell is something special. I haven't run her before but I just look at it and the plant says "oh yeah, I've got papers." Fuckin' plant has fuckin' papers man! GA is also very fruity/grapey but certainly looks like it will be the mellowist from a frost level. Really though, I don't like getting blasted too much these days so hopefully it's a contender for stargazing pinners.

This is my first time running co2 and I'm really digging it outside of some scrambling up front when I thought it sealed room or nothing. I was battling humidity and heat and it was getting too complicated. The solution? Crack the door an inch on the side of the closet with the room fan/res. Now it's just all sitting where it should be. Am I wasting some co2? Yes. Am I still getting 8 weeks a tank in this small space? That's been the case so far, and it totally removed my stress levels from the situation.

Oh and, a bonus of the Mammoth Mint (which I'm digging) is the ability to tie up colas right to the light! Probably should have run a trellis, but next time! Right now some garden tie running up to the bar is working great.
