Circulating air between rooms question?

how is it workin for you? your a/c is in your flower room rite ? and which room is your scrubber and fan pulling from and blowing to the pics look like you are pullin from veg blowin into flower.
I turned each vent around to create the least light leak possible.
I put my dehumidifier in front of the vent in the flower room to block the bit of light that came through. Next I will put some of that felt-like filter stuff over one side of the vent to catch the rest.

The light leak is not enough to affect my flowering plants, but just to be sure I will seal out all light.

The A/C is in the flower room. The scrubber is in the veg room and blows into the flower room.. Air conditioned air is pulled in from the flower room through the vents on the wall near the floor.

It is working great.. I went on vacation for the weekend. I just hope my A/C did not turn off due to power hiccup.

im gettin started this morn im glad its workin for you i hope it does for me. do you think it would work with scrubber in flower room blowin into veg since flower room would get hotter im running 2 1000s in veg and 4 1000s in flower. jus curious why r u scrubbin the air that you are blowin into flower room? what type filter did you end up goin with
?

does your fan run all the time or do you have it on a temp control

I run the fan between the rooms constanly. I put a scrubber on it just because I had an extra Mountain Aire (sp?) giant scrubber.. he fan is so big because I already had it, too.

I put my fan in the hotter room so it would blow the heat out and pull cooled air back in through the passive vent.

It is fun being away from home for 3 days now without being tied to my room.

I'm not sure which way you should arrange yours.

How is it going so far?

so far so good waitn on 2 fans should get them by tues confused as hell but here is my over all plan i have 11x11 flower room 4 1000watts lights 2 each row a/c in room 8in 720cfm fans on speed controller turned down 36% so i get 461cfm from each fan, 1 fan on each row Y connector at end tieing both rows into 950 cfm filter im going to turn my fans on with timer or temp controller. for my 11x11 veg room 1 8in 720cfm fan pullin air from room filter>lights>fan>blowin into flower room fan on temp or timer controller 2 12' x12' passive intakes at bottom between rooms to recirculate cold air and co2 . so what do you think any advice? what im concerned about is pullin cold air an co2 from other room to fast depleting the levels in flower room and co2 generator and a/c would be workin overtime . i will post pics once i setup everything

Hey the co2 stays unless I flip the "fresh air" switch on the AC.

You need 3500BTU per 1000 watt light.

Your AC sounds under-powered.

My setup kicks ass. Just got back from 5 days away from home. Plants loved the vacation from me.

i hooked it up with 12x12 passive intake and 720cfm fan exhausting into flower i wasnt able to keep veg room cool

If you have 6000 watts of lighting, you won't be able to cool it with your current A/C.

6(X1000watts)*3500BTU= 21,000btu A/C

Idunno. On the web?
I have a 24000btu a/c for 3x600 plus 2x1000.

It doesn't have to run constantly. A weaker one would need to stay running...
Anyway, it's the standard stoner formula for a/c.

funny, never heard it before, just was wondering if it was something you came up with. The rule of thumb for ac units as far as i know, is you need one that is powerful enough to cool the size of the room you grow in. If you get an ac that is too small to cool a large grow room, you're right it won't work properly. Respect
