@optzulu, It's OK man. Shittyfied just can't stand it that he looks a complete tool after he has been trash talking COB growers for years. COBs would never beat his HPS grows. NEVER! Only he can understand how embarrassing it is to have been so utterly wrong for so long. Of course he can't admit it either, so we are all still doing it "completely wrong".

I mean come on, he's even so stupid that he thinks people pick COBs on lumen per watt. Pro tip for the clueless like him, look up "PPF to Lux/lumen" conversion rates. Every spectral distribution has it's own conversion rate. Really not that difficult a concept to understand and these factors have been know since 2014.

Either way, I just use what works best. If something which is demonstrated to work better comes along I will switch to that. Always have, always will. I also show that what I use actually works before I start give advice. People see me grow massive cola's under my COBs and they get excited. That's why people follow my lead while they ignore poor Shittyfied who only posts lame insults while his plants look like a joke really.

It's a sad story, but I have to say it's also very entertaining to see him insult himself over and over.

TLDR

Anything in those 214 pages about cannabis?

It's not the job of a grower with a 4x4 and heat issues to spend countless hours and R&D capital to track down the "perfect spectrum" for growing cannabis.

Doesn't the choice to run 3000k cobs instead of 5000k cobs or 2200k HPS illustrate the point that folks are at least trying to consider both spectrum and ppfd?

If there is no consensus among countless lighting mfgs about what the ideal spectrum is for cultivating cannabis (nevermind the myriad strains that likely require their own tailormade spectrum and photoperiod to thrive), what would you have someone do who is trying to maximize their space?

What fixture does your 214 page report suggest I run in my 4x4?

Strawman...

There's no "the" OMG spectrum. Those people you imagine dont exist. There's no false dillema between crappy white cob streetlight spectrum and the for cannabis specific ultimate spectrum. All a product of your ignorance. There is however more and less sensible. Start with trying to understand spectrum does not dictate ppfd...

You have no idea how much NPK your plants actually use, yet you don't give them 1-1-1 based on not knowing the ideal ratio. Your argument, little sock up, is typical invalid wietefras "logic".

While you guys were all busy with finding the most luminous efficient white cob (something dictated by manufacturers and beyond your control) and the parrot is still parotting outdated riu bibled nonsense, the horticulture lighting industry and everyone with more than half-a-brain didn't pick cobs based on lumens per watt because some self-proclaimed intellectual dishonest led expert wannabees decided that was the way to go.:wall:

Here's a far out thought... why don't you try reading it to find out what's inside, rather than sitting around waiting for someone to spoon feed you the info... Just saying;-)

Knowing what a clueless numbnuts you are, I can well believe you probably picked COBs on Lpw basis, so don't pretend otherwise.

Anyone following you is simply an unfortunate case of the blind (I cannot properly interpret what I am reading) leading the blind, as can be evidenced by your posts:lol:
