Does anybody have home remedies for clean hydro system before use?
All the companies around here who have 35% h2o2 will not sale to public, and it cost way to damn much to buy and get shipped here; so forget that. I have read that bleach leaves a residue behind. For future reference Thanks.

Bleach is not very good for the plastic parts either.

Try some soft scrub bathroom tile cleaner.

I like a product called "the Works"

It is pretty strong,
but it will take everything off,
and leave it shiney new.

Except Earl im building ebb&flow system i don't think thats the same thing as what you got. Im not finish building it yet but i can draw a diagram of what is going to look like. Let me add are you indoors(room,cabby), are outdoors?

I dont know if you want to keep your nuts, ha ha ahaha, ha he said nuts. Anyways i don't know if you want to keep your nuts hush hush, but have you heard of anybody making there own grow medium for hydro system. My choices are clay pebbels(24/7 watering), are make my own from schatch(green sand,worm casting,etc) put in a mold to shape like a square. Whats your opion?

good design ..... thats how my ebb flow system works ... wish i could do diy then i wouldent of had to pay so much for it .... hope it all goes well for u mate

I try to diy, but i wish i didn't cut whole in the front for the clean out pump. I didn't buy a rubber boot for the whole before putting in the whose. So i made one, i hope it works out for me too fella.
