Hello all,

I am wondering if its ok to clip off the bottom nodes of my female plants since they are not getting much light and basicly just taking up nutrients.

I need to cut off the bottom 4 nodes from each plant. I am going to do a test with the best node and clone it. Plants are about 3ft tall.

I am just wondering what issues I would run into like slowing growth etc..

Sounds like lollipopping essentially. Should be no probs.

yea i have the same thing going on ..... i am almost 2 week of flowering and i wanted to trim her bottom leaves .... i did trim a little in the fron of the plant so air could get in there..........but i noticed that i grew about 5 inchs in a week after i did that .............so i am not sure man i heard once the top gets a good canopy going the bottom just dies off and i am seeing more and more dead leaves on the bottom so that might be the way to go bongsmilie

Yea, the bottom leaves are curling but the rest of the plant is in perfect health. I just took off a node from each plant. I figure ill wait a few days and remove the rest. I fear shocking the plant some how.

But as someone stated on the forum that is stuck in my head.. "dont over think it! Its a fuckin weed"
