Clone Branch

A plant has the main branch, would I want to take clones from the branches that grows out of the main branch?

Or wait for the 3rd level branches, and use them as clones.

My plant is 1 1/2 month old, it's almost 2 feet tall, I tied it down today to prevent it from growing any taller, and hope the branches develop more.

Back to my original question, would I ever want to clone branches that extends from the main branch?

i saw a guy on here clone with just water... no root hormones used.... but he topped the plant and used those... but they say the easiest part to clone is the lower branches like mutant gargamel... gargamel?.... Gargamel from Smurfs?.... what? huh?

sorry...

umm..what i was saying

And once you have the branch planted it roots and grows? So does it just produce buds?
I'm new to cloning and havn't been around the "growing scene" in a few years.

It will produce another fullly functioning plant that is genetically identical to the plant you took it from. It's a fantastic way to turn one female plant into a room full, without needing seeds ever again.

Every serious grower should learn how to clone. It' s easy, and VERY much worth your time.
