clone lighting question

depends what the clone has become accustomed too while it rooted.. if it has spent the last month under t5s then putting it straight under 1000w mh is a sure way to stress it possibly to death. harden it off by slowly introducing it to the more intense light bit by bit and it will be fine
couldnt be more on key here. just like when you bring your inside plants outside in spring. they are not acustomed to the light so it stresses them. i wouldnt go all out on a crazy T5 rig but maybe get a small one (2 bulb) then just place the clones into the 1000w room for 1 hour on the first day, 2 hours on the second day, 4 hours third day, 8 hours fourth day and then on the 5th day they should be gtg. and when they arent under the 1000w just put em under the small T5 setup.

in a nutshell though the 1000w shouldnt kill them even if you put them right under it. just stresses them like you stated earlier. If you wanted to save some money a 4 pack of daylight CFL and a couple of light sockey Y's would also do well and cost alot less than a t5 unit.

a t8 is half the size of a t5.

a t5 bulb puts out 2000 lumens.

that pack i posted is a set of 6 cfls that put out 1750 lumens each for $15 dollars..

arcaned is just an idiot.
bmeat you really have no room to be name calling m8, we all know who you are and you for sure arent the most reputable for giving solid advice.

that being said a t5 is 1/2 the size of a t8 actually.

sorry, youre correct, thanks for the fix.

"[h=2]Size Of The Bulbs[/h]
A T5 bulb is roughly the same diameter as a $.10 dime. A T8
bulb is closer to the size of a $.05 Nickel. The T5 is the smaller of the 2.

By any chance do you ever make sure you are correct when making a statement before typing it in? If you don't know that's fine just don't talk like you do. You remind me of a baby trying to smash your circle block through the square hole, over, and over, and over again.

bmeat. You have no actual experience in growing...thats your first problem. Your second problem is most of what you say on here has no validity. Yet you get pissed when people call you out. Like i have told you numerous times..just stop posting and sit in the back of the room and learn for a while. You always have to argue with everyone...

grow up m8, stop posting and learn something....dosent everyone always telling you your wrong set off any bells and whistles?????
