Ur rite Im a big fan of cloning I jus figured the genes would eventually weaken and as a grower for 13 yrs now and hung around wit veteran growers since I was 16-17 I’m 27 now , I’ve heard of cloning on clones for way too long and the growth patterns started to weaken and slower growth n potency altogether so restart from seed, maybe it was 8-9 yrs of doing that who knows all I do know is he wouldn’t lie to me and I used to move pounds for the dude and noticed the potency wasn’t there any more
It could be that the particular strain you mentioned didnt take to serial cloning well or along the way its picked up some kind of pathogen hence the drop in potency vigour yield and dodgy growth patterns i tend to believe the second one but who knows for sure right:bigjoint:

As started they do lose vigor and ability to fight disease but under good conditions it doesn’t really matter. I’ve also heard you can give them something back by having them get natural sunlight but I haven’t tested that myself

I heard what I do is usually right, cuz I been doing most my shit rite since 2012-2013 I been growin since 07 bud.. used to pass over 80+lb of outdoor a year for this guy too, that HAS to re do his skunky freeze cuts every 7-8 yrs cuz cloning on old clones well after doing that 3 times a year @8 yrs well that in fact does weaken ur cuts potency an growth patterns in certain genetics dude if ur not crazy into tissue culture and don’t have a lab in ur basement and wear white clothes all day

You obviously haven't tried Brawndo. It's got what plants crave.

There’s cuts that age back 60 years fuck 20, u gotta know what ur doing tho with tissue culture u can’t just have ur tongue hanging out ur mouth some night when your rly stoned and do “perfect” 45 cuts with ur slim root.... that still won’t help give back the poor plants potential after its lost. it’s like comparing myself to my grandfather I can’t because he was 285lb and I’m 145

Eventually there cuts lose vigour too and they have to do sum patch ups hence the reason we have thousands of strains today cuz if the originals didn’t eventually have to be restarted from seed every 5 years for the best/optimum results, then there probly would be 50% less strains today from ppls fuck around experiments that actually ended up panning out
