How many days have you had the cutting/clone?
Had to have been taken from a plant on the very verge of flower?

If you have an auto-flowering strain, it could be programmed to flower a certain number of months after germination. Also, if it has recieved a 12 hour period of darkness at any point (especially during transport), this can cause some strains to initiate flowering, even if they are brought back to a 24/0 or 18/6.

Never crossed my mind. Good one.

thanks now that I think about it there was one time the clones did get 12 hours of darkness. only 1 time, the mother plant is under my only MH light, when it goes off I move the clones under some fluorescent lights for the remaining 4 hours. is this move ok to do for a couple months while my other plant flowers? or do you think that has something to do with the flowering clone? I have 2 only 1 is showing white hairs. I took the clipings for the clones the day I switched to 12/12 and that was about 3 weeks ago.

I have had one of my plants begin to flower irreversibly after just one night when the power went off for 14-16 hours. It stressed the rest of the plants out, but none of the dozens of other strains went into full flower like this Haze Mix from Seedsman. Even with continued 24 hour lighting after the initial "blackout" the plant continued to throw off pistils and take on flowering form. I eventually put it in the flower room and it took off. Anyways, you didn't ask about that...

Just give the clone that is showing flowers 24 hours of light under the fluoros, if you can do so and keep the plant growing with enough light. Continuous light can reverse the flowering signals and is more effective at doing so than a schedule with a dark period. The plant may start to show signs of revegetation if it has gotten far enough into flowering, so don't freak out if the leaves start to curl or stretch and warp. If the plant does not revert, and continues to throw off more pistils, I would advise flowering it. Hopefully you can get your clone back on track, I hate when I loose an only clone.

i agree , if u put back in 24 under floro's then IT WILL rejuvenate itself...........not really sure bout 18/6 but i know 24 will do it.
