Hey guys I just transplanted some clients out of my ezcloner into cups and I've noticed that my MAC clones look not so healthy, the roots look great but the tops of the clones look almost burned? They're shriveling up, I'm not sure if my light above the cloner is too close but it's just a 15w led light nothing crazy, very weak and gives off no heat. My other 2 strains amnesia haze and grandpa's stash show no signs of this issue either and they're all rooted in the same cloner, is this something I'm doing wrong?
Could the light the too close because of the angle it's at?Snapchat-2063196204.jpgSnapchat-202865034.jpgSnapchat-1359153276.jpg15729782368541526758206444757550.jpg

The only time I have ever seen this is when I raised my flood table into the lights......Maybe someone took a look @ the roots while you weren't there and burned them. That and trying to root flowering clones is futile....

This strain has some pre flowering pistils but they're still in veg and the light cycle hasn't been tampered with, nobody else would have touched them as it's a private grow area

I can't help but think this strain is just more sensitive to light when the plants are just starting out maybe?

To be fair the light is angled so that it's the closest to these cuts specifically

Ouch, those don't look too good. Raise the light but those are probably too far gone at this point.

Rooting flowering clones is not futile. People do it all the time it's called monster cropping.

yes I have personally monster cropped, great turnout but the plants always look kind of weird lol

No worries as my mother plant is getting huge and taking more cuts that are much healthier wouldn't hurt. Experience is the best teacher!

Clones don't worry about what is going on above the root cut .Its all about those roots .Healthy white roots, and it will come round ,But if you get mould or burn on the tops then i would ditch it ,and just focus on another if its the only one raise the light .If there are no roots on it yet no need for the light to be that close ,may be light burn from led seen it before.
