clones are dying!!!

Ok i have been doing my research on cloneing for about two months now and i cloned a plant two difrent ways, the first one i juct cut the top off and put in the soil and gave it the root nutreients when ever i feed it. and the second one i cloned was from a branch from an older plant. They are dying slowly. I don't care if these two die they where just a learning experience for me so far xD dose any one know how to clone the normal way?

also don't post messages saying things like you idiot your not suposed to do this or that just post answers on how to clone please.

its usual for them to appear to be dying when actually they are just sucking up all the stored carbs to create root growth, so dont give up yet! As for the 'usual' way, there isnt one just differing methods. Check the growfaq.
