clones during flowering

sup ya'll?
i was wondering if it's a good idea or bad idea to take clones while the mother is in flowering. if it isn't so bad, how far into flowering should it be done?

do i because it will keep the "flowering" hormone in there and once it reverts to veg mode, it will BURST with branches from that hormone... then u flower it and look out max yield time!

its ok - id take them sooner then later so my plant didnt waste a whole bunch of time and energy on making buds at the end of some branch im lopping off.

Yeah its fine it just stresses the clones a little more which mean you have a slighty lower success rate, but I haven't had any problems.
