clones growing healthy roots @ 3-4 weeks

RW cubes 25g wet, humidity dome
Strain is SS AK47. My first op I was doing NL and getting roots @ 10 days.

I feel that I am doing just about everything right.
Only thing I don't have is a heat mat, but I don't see that making that big of a difference.
3-4 weeks clones grow healthy roots that once they start they get going good.
Also leaves are green and still look good.

Any ideas as to what my problem might be?

As long as the roots are healthy I should be G2G right, or will these plants produce deminished yields?

thanks,

stays relevant.
I just have to say, I personally have had 100% success in under 5 days WITH a heat mat, without a heat mat keeping the root zone at optimum temperature, the delicate roots grow noticeably slower.

I found this out using the same strain, same clone method, same clonex gel, same rapid rooters, and just put some in an unheated tray because I ran out of room...

The heated rapid rooters popped roots and were ready to transplant in half the time the others were ready.

Just an observation... Either way, I recommend everyone try rapid rooters, as I've never waited more than 10 days for roots with rapid rooters, plus they cost just $12 for a bag of 50.

I have that same problem with sour diesel. I get roots right about 10 days on 1 or 2 and then it sometimes takes 17 days for me to see them. I'm using the same set-up as you except peat pellets instead of the rockwool cubes

size of cutting, part of plant taken from, and strain all play a big part in how long it takes it will still be an exact replica of its mother so no deminishing yeild just wait to see new top growth than put it under better light and grow

the heat pad i got makes it aaay to hot for the clones it straight cooks them with the dome on. so now i dont even use it, but my clones take AT LEAST two weeks to root

put sumthing between the pad and cuttings... a cooling rack from the kitchen or even a bath towel

You definately want a heat mat, it makes a world of difference, I even use one on a mist type cloner and it heats the water to an even 80 degrees, and I get roots at 7-10 days without one I would see roots in 4- 6 weeks.

yes i agree that a nice, warm area for both clones and seedlings promotes EXTREMELY faster root growth than having in a cooler area....I also LOVE rapid rooters..ive had countless seeds fail in rockwool, but when i tried in rapid rooters..all grew perfect..and all my seedlings had roots coming out of the rapid rooter after only ONE day of sprotuing..
