Hello all. Been a while since I’ve been here. I just have a couple of questions I hope y’all could help answer. I know what I’m doing but I am not a seasoned professional by any means.
Facts- currently vegging in a 2x4 tent in party cups with a 300 watt T5 set up. Flowering will be done in a 8x8 with two separate 1000w HPS lights for a total of 2k watts. I have 6 plants I’ve started from seed that are 15 days old (top right in pics) and just received 18 clones. I have another 2x4 set up on the way So I can have two veg tents. Within the next couple of weeks will have another tent to keep a couple mother plants to clone from. Growing in roots organic soil with the general organics nute line. No CO2 as of now. Two 4inch in-line exhaust/intake fans in the veg tent and 8inch inline fans for the flower tent. Have all the tools necessary and the means to acquire what else I may need.
My questions are- 1) the clones I received were supposedly running on 24hr light however after getting them today I noticed more then one already showing pistils and wanting to pre flower. My veg tent and original 6 plants have been on the usual 18/6. Will that be enough to revert the clones into veg or should I go 24hr for a couple weeks and would that mess with my original 6 plants.
2.) As most probably want, I would like to get as much possible off each plant. Should I flower less plants at a time(if so how many) in the 8x8 2k watt tent in (x amount of gallon pots) or just throw them all in smaller pots and flower most of 24 total plants aside from 1-2 mother plants? Would rotating say 5-10 plants in larger pots to flower Yeild more or just put all 20ish plants into 1-5 gallon pots(the biggest I can fit in 8x8 be better?
I’ve only grown a couple plants at a time and have all these plants I’m overwhelmed with at the moment and would like advice on the best route to take given my situation and growing environments.
I’ve included a few pics. Clones in the box. A close up of a pre flowering example clone, and all the plants. Should easily be able to tell the clones from the 6 original plants from seed.
Please feel free to ask for better pictures/info/questions/etc
