i have read alot of tutorials but i have noticed they were all inside under floressent lights, is it possible to let my clones grow outside in a, not sure what to call it, humid box?
Or let them grow inside at a window ledge?

Please help, i ave 4 plants growing, 3 females and a male, so im just experimenting with me male until i get it right.

Thanks in advance and i look forward to getting involed in this intresting forum!

I don't see why not, as long as the photoperiod is acceptable.(at least 18 hours, maybe a little less) You're talking about trying to establish roots, right?

Yup, all im trying to do is establish roots, I have read to soak rockwool in clonex and then for my clippings dip them in a cloning hormone like woods or rootone.

but im not sure if it is to hot out and my clippings will just die.

Edit: oh and +Rep, thanks for the bit of help!

Please keep the advice comming!

Thanks!

I've never used rockwool,(peat pellets, soil, and rapid rooters) but I do know that before use, it must be soaked overnight in a solution that'll adjust the PH. Does Clonex take care of that? I've heard of the stuff, but not sure what it is, exactly. I was assuming it was some type of rooting hormone, but, now I'm guessing it's not?

I've found temperature to be the most important thing when cloning, above all else. I try to keep mine around 80*, give or take 5*. I've found that lower temps slow the process, but they still root. It just takes a few days longer.

I belive clonex will do the job because i read to soak the rockwool in that from a big threadon this site.
Tempature gets pretty hot and ive tryed to clone outsid before in good soil and some type of rooting solution but the longest i have had a clipping stay for is 2 days but it just withered and died...

Edit: Here is a very good tutorial about alot of things on how to grow marijuana, on page 2 is where i read the stuff about how to clone.

^Did you have a humidity dome(of some sort) on it? Even at temps close to 100*, it shouldn't have killed them. Hmm....make sure the cuttings are making good solid contact with the rockwool,(give the rockwool a little squeeze after you insert the cutting) or else they won't be able to draw up water, and will wilt. It's possible, that was the problem. In higher temps, they should be misted more often, too. 2-3x a day, should be enough. It's not critical, but will help.

I have a humidity dome but i think the time before it died because it was in soil, not rockwool.
Anyways, Thanks alot you have been a big help!
I hope to get more active in this forum and give alot of advice to others!
