Way too general question, Pete. Welcome to the board first off, then to answer you question as best as I can.
MJ is kinda like women in many ways, one way is that each plant is slightly different than the next and interacts with different people in different ways, kinda like twins, there could be two fine ass twin blonds you been checkin out and they both have soooo many of the same qualities, but one is really friendly and is in to you and the other is not, but your best friend is hanging out with you and he gets the same reaction as you do but only reversed. Then if things don't work out, don't worry cause the next day you could run into another blond/brunet/red/purple/ect. you like better!
Ok enough of the stupid acronym, there are so many strains out there right now and more on the horizon, the bulk of the new strains seem to be hybrid's of indica and sativa and provide the best of both world. The same MJ strain grown in different environments will/can be very different once smoked by the same person and the same strain purchased at the same place smoked by two different people could have different effect on those two people. Is this making sense?
Also the way you posted your Q, it is a bit unclear if you are looking for an indica that clones strong or smokes strong?
For me this changes often, but some of the top Indica's IMO (smoke) are:
Master Kush
Nor Lights
Odyssey
Afgoo
LA Conf
Romulan
Then there is OG this is always a good strain when done right but most people get this confused with an indica because it is a super strong Sativa dom hybrid. The biggest problem with the stain right now is actually finding a true version of it, as now a days every one wants to call there really good crosses OG X something or have the name OG in it somewhere so they can charge a premium and I have had a lot of these X's and been disappointed more than once.

thanks i am sorry abot not being clear enough i meant stronger to smoke but yes your answer was understood and i thank you, its just as i get older the smoke aint really getting me off as much and now i dont have to work any more i want to experiment in my garden once again thanks for the help

Well pete I am pretty new to growing so when it comes to answering your question on a plant that is easy to clone, I am probably not the best person to answer you. Now when it comes to partaking in a little consumption I am no newbie, lol, I would recommend any one the list I mentioned, I personally have a Master Kush and she seems to be an easy one to keep happy and as far as a smoke, it is one of the stronger ones.
Master Kush is has a lineage that is either:
Sensi Seeds: An Indian-Afghani hybrid created from two true-breeding Indica seed lines that were collected in different parts of the Hindu-Kush.
The cannabis from this area has always been valued for its resin production and Master Kush retains this quality, as well as the vintage flavour of her parents earthy and pungent, with a hint of incense.

Other site: First called High-Rise, Master Kush was developed in one of the tall buildings of south Amsterdam. Instantly the coffeeshops fell in love with this special new tetraploid. Through popular demand, this Hindu Kush/ skunk hybrid was stabilized and marketed. Master Kush is strong and the smoke is smooth.

Like I said I have a limited experience when it comes to growing but if I could pick any strains I could to grow based on past experience, MK and Nor Lights would be on that list.
