...its like ur prolongin the whole question...just asked if it matters if you cut the buds off or not, i see ur pictures, im not that slow. it shows cuttings, then taking the buds off, then rooting powder, then the dome...i mean...maybe its just me. and i am just dumb for asking....

wow one week ago this thing was only 2 pages long. it is a good topic. thanks for the help fddk.
but will the clones of this plant be weaker because of its background (i.e. cloning a flowering plant) or
will they be just as stout? any help would be great.

tryintogrow,

and the question wasn't whether u take them off or not, it was should you take the whole budding site with it?? i left it one and it seems to be growing multiple heads now.
guess i should of worded it better.

thats awsome....so is it recomended to clone before they get into flowering? like when they're at the end of their veg? i didnt think it mattered but also i have never cloned anything yet.

the last thing i would have done before harvest would be to make cuttings for clones.

your clone are going to root faster when they have little or no veg nutes stored in them. this is why I say cloneing in flower stage is better for rooting your clone butit will take a bit to vert back. cloneing earlyin flower is better for veting back a little quicker, but cutting that clone further into flower is only goingto give youa massive plant with a massive yield. and when cutting a clone in flower that plant will be strong

interesting topic, Ive always wondered why you would clone a plant that you dont know the sex of. kinda pointless.
but i have problems with clones they dont root for me and die, any suggestions?
i dip my clones in a mix of tap water+super thrive+MG bloom booster=healthy clones 100% success. 40% with just water

If you take a clone from a female plant thats on been flowing maybe a month, just started getting the two flower pistols everywhere, could you clone and keep it on 12/12 in a hydro set up. I'm thinkin it still has like 2 months to mature and bud good, so during that time the clone would grow and continue to bud? So you wont have a problem reverting, want be as big but hell if your cloning you should have enough to work with....
