Cloning a plant grown from feminized seed?

Ok, so I was talking to my know-it-all (adult) son this evening and he said you should never take a clone from a plant grown from fem seeds. He said the plant would lose potency.

So, is the whipper-snapper correct? Anyone try it?

not correct, clones are the same genotype and will express the same traits under the same conditions

He is completely incorrect. it's a clone, it is the same plant as the parent.

I've done it and not had any problems

I'm in the process of doing it. Its an exact copy.
