Cloning AND vegging 2 weeks in dwc?

Hi,
We all know you can clone in these, but can I clone and veg it several weeks in a dwc cloner, then transfer to soil for flower? I know there will be a few days of the plant adjusting to soil, but should be no problem as I need to extend my veg time regardless to my flowering plants (running perp harvest, 4 weeks clone/veg, 7 weeks flower).

Just add a drop of nutes every 3-4 days until i swap over?

It certainly can stay in there and grow, you would basically be running a combo aeroponics/dwc.

The problem is that the roots will continue to grow and you will have a difficult time transferring them without damaging them, pruning them, or just having a giant clump of roots in the middle of your pot. If you have several clones the roots will all grow together into one big mess.

A much better and less stressful method would be to transfer to a solo cup (with whatever soil mix you use) after a couple weeks and feed lightly. It will slow the plant down until you're ready and it will take off again once you transplant, with very little stress.
