Cloning attempt 3

We've taken 30 odd clones and stuck them in make-shift propagators. I'll take some pic's later as i need to go back to finish trimming the plants. It's so easy to be told something but quite something else to be actually shown. He's letting us borrow his nute meter and a bottle of the growth hormone. He's also given us some powerful bloomer that you feed alongside carbo-load which we're getting on Saturday. His price, a few measely cuttings.

We're using the large fridge for our cuttings and we're going to keep a close eye on progress. I'll wipe my last pic's from the gallery as things have changed a little.

Done it. Everything's sorted. Even emptied my gallery and filled it with new pictures. Oh as we were pruning and chucking perfectly good shoots away and we've run out of rockwool I decided to try and clone a further 10 in soil. They are on the bottom shelf and have the poorest light, but i believe that everything deserves a chance. So 10 of the strongest shoots have been given one. In the meantime we've got about a week to set up a seperate vegging area within the grow room. The clone king keeps going on about some material called black and white that we can use to keep light in/out.

Well he's certainly got us moving, before that we were resting on our laurels a little bit. Just waiting to see what happened with this crop first I suppose, but if you're in it for the dough you've got to learn how to clone.

Just got back from the clones and there is still plenty of moisture in the makeshift propagators. So we'll let them soak up a few seconds worth of water tomorrow. The C.K. recommends letting them soak up the solution to the count of 3. On my last cloning attempt I just sprayed them.

I suggested using rockwool as a medium for the entire growth process but he said that this would be costly. So for the next grow we're going to be using clay pebbles and he mentioned some other type of stone. The clay pebbles for oxygen circulation and the other to hold water. He also said that the pebbles are pretty cheap which sounds good to us. He's also going to help us build a small aero' unit so that we can compare the differences in yield and general growth, potency etc.
