cloning auto flowering cannabiss

I decided to try cloning a northern light blue auto once it was already flowering. This seem to work well,. but changing the clone from flowering back to veg took some time but it did work. Just took a couple month. 3 clones off a one foot plant lol. This can be done If you didn't now. They did best under 24hr light cycle cfl. First couple weeks in green house then out an on the regular shelf to get the size. Dont ask how they just went back to veg like the plant knew it had to get bigger to flower.

I'm excited I will get to chime in first with a right answer instead of looking stupid. It will work but remember auto flower buds by age not light and when you take a clone it's as genetically the same age as the mother. What that means is ur clone will be smaller than the mother when it's done. It works just fine I'm sure but it's not practical.

How did you manage to get an auto flower to stop flowering though?

He didn't, he probably just stunted its growth so much that it didn't grow till it came out of stress and now I can almost guarantee it will hermi.

Very interesting.....They wont do much at all and will take a long long time to finish. An auto does one thing, flower. It may seem like it's back in veg stage but more than likely its very stunted and it could hermi.....

Whats your goal by doing this?

It just stopped flowering. It didn't completely stop flowering, there were always little bugs on it but they didnt start getting bigger intill the plants reached about a 1 ft high then the buds started to grow out. I'm guessing it never went back into veg it just got as big as the mother plant before it started letting the buds grow. It's pretty cool I cloned a flowering plant that never stopped flowering. I've done this with regular plants ( took clones off it while it was already flowering) and the plant just stops flowering altogether till u want to it. So it doesn't matter if ts in veg or flowering you can clone at anytime. Auto flowering plants an periodic plants. Some clones didn't take like regular cloning tho it was a bit more time consuming.

My goal in doing this is the same goal as regular cloning I made 1 plant into 3. All starting there flowering stage at about 1 foot same as there mother. I never have to buy a new seed if I forget to make some clones before flowering them or if it has already started its flowering cycle bc its a auto flowering plant. Also there mostly indica so there flying compared to my pure svtia plants I've have for, 4 months an there still not done yet! 6 foot plants that grow as slow as shit I'll never grow that kind ever again.

autoflowering marijuana strains are fast-growing and early to flower but due to these characteristics, autos are not good for cloning.. i don't know if it does work for you but most growers i know and have tried doing this wasn't successful
