cloning clones, then cloning those clones

Ok, Lets say your mother plant is A, you take some clones off her. Those clones are then B clones, veg them, clone them, you get clones C and so on and so on.

The Question is will the later clones (like clone M) be of a lesser quality than your original mother plant? Or is any clone going to me an extension of the original mother?

an older generation of growers were talking about this, i ask as my mother plant passed away and i am now cloning off of the 1st clones i ever took from her.

i dont use mothers i just clone from clones before flowering them works fine for many generations no degredation of traits i have seen if anything they seem to get stronger and more resilient.

Genetically.... they are identical, however its possible for sliiiight evoulutions. This matters because; For some reason, you need to change a major variable in your grow... if you've been growing the same way for 10 years... and cultivating cannabis in the same condition...it might make a difference. Also, clones do degrade over time... they become less "stable", weaker genetics.

That makes sence, but it must be a longtime before they degrade since people grow without mothers. Any idea how long?

or how long have you guys been going without using mothers?

i cloned a black domina clone 5 times over and it had the same output and the same quality a friend now has that plant and plans to clone it again.
