I have a Jack herer mother plant two months old that has only been waterd with big blooms by fox farm . I got a dome and a heating mat and root gel the whole nine and last night I took 12 6inch clones split the cut and rolled them in gel and stuck them in rockwool watered with ph of 5.5 .Then I covered them up and put them about four feet away from my 400watt metal hylide . This morning I went to check on them and three of them are bent over drooped over so I watered them again with 5.5ph water and misted the leaf with ph 7 water and covered with dome. It's now been a few hours and there still droopy? Should I wait to see if they pick up or are they already telling me good by? can anyone help me?

Maybe you could try cutting some of the leaves from your clones in half since they loose a lot of moisture threw them..

oh i figured you'd done that. definitely cut all the big fan leaves in half on your clones. it'll help it concentrate on growing roots.

Oh forgot to mention that to I cut all leaf in half to stop growth already. So I'll just see by tomarrow if theyre going to stand up or not.

Maybe you could try and make the droopy ones 4" inch clones.. ive found good results with smaller clones and I find them much easier to root them rather than having bigger clones

Is that right why is that I wonder? I've got this book Marijuana horticulture medical growers bible by Jorge Cervantes . It says two sets of leaf and one-two cut off then the cut inernodes get root gel along with the split end then stick it in the wet rockwool cube . I did that and it does say a few may droop a little then purk up by the end of the week. I'm just wondering if since there isn't a picture in this book what they look like droopy I can't tell if he meant bent over like a soggy branch? If I have to I can through away the week ones and buy the few I lost from a medical club in another strain I was just hoping to do one complete Jack herer grow from the same mother plant

my clones are not drooping but they are not takn root either im not sure what to do
If your clones still look like living plants and are not wilting then its fine just have patience, sometimes it could take for ever to get roots but if they look fine chances are theyre just taking longer thats all.. Try some take root to promote faster root development.

Try watering clones with willow water, what is that you ask? Google search "willow water" , it contanes salicylic acid ( the same thing in cloning gel ) to promote root growth. You can make your own for free if you have access to a willow tree.

Smitty It takes 10- 20 days till clones root. So after 20 days give up and start over. I sure hope it only takes 10 days though I hear it's more like two weeks
