I'm thinking about cloning but just don't know where to start off:wall:. Can I flower and harvest my plant and reveg and make it a mother plant and take clones from her? And if so how would i cut off the buds without killing the plant?? Oh and i wanted to do this in soil, I have organic soil, but still wondering if i need organic root hormone or any root hormone at all? And if so is which is better, gel or powder?

Any help or past experience is welcomed

Your almost answered your own questions.
In my experience if you want to harvest just the top plant off; you can take just the top half of the plant off. I'm sure this will put it into some shock, but it will come out of it. Whether or not this will produce a Hermie, is up for debate.
You can clone off of any good healthy plant as far as I know. There are a lot of good videos on how to clone on YouTube and if you just look up in your search engine on; 'how to clone a cannabis plant", you should find several results for your search.
I personally read only one small article on cloning and have had great success ever since.
Cloning from a flowering plant, will produce a clone that is in flower already and has to re-veg. Cloning from a plant that is already in veg will produce of course, will produce a plant that is ready to go into vegetation, and start her healthy life.
Good luck.

Thanks AZP, if the mother plant is a hermie, will all the clones be hermie too?

Yes in my latest cloning experiments I have cloned AK-47 and Kush straight into Happy Frog soil, with excellent results.
I could not however clone the Head Band and Mystery plant with that good of results, but all have survived.
This is the Head Band straight into Happy Frog, but it has taken for ever to come out of it.
Here is a picture of it a of right now and it was cloned on the 9th.IMG_0522.jpg
I got nervous that it was not going to survive and cloned more into rock wool just in case, but she has come through.
I don't like Rock Wool is why I tried this experiment and it seems to work.

It is also hard to get soil to dry with a humidity dome over it but it is doable.
If your mother plant hermied after you took your clones, because of stress, I think your chances of a clone hermi are low. If your plant hermied naturally then I think your chances are at least 50/50 on cloning a herm.
