Cloning in a Rubbish bin

I am going to turn a cheap 70 litre rubbish bin into something I can clone in( maybe 4 at a time) I'll be using CFLs, not sure how many yet but I have some splitters. Question is would passive airflow be enough with some holes drilled at the top and bottom or would I need a small fan in the bin. Will be putting cuttings into jiffy's and then soil. Also is 24hr light better or 18/6. I could also add a small usb humidifier.

Why such a big bin dude. Not only is it huge but u have limited surface area for your clones to float on. Better off using a tote of some sort imo. U dont need fans for cloning either. Just got 14 clones rooted in a 3 gallon bucket no problem.

Brought it because it was cheap, as I'm going to do them in jiffys/soil I wanted to keep the CFL's a decent distance away from them to help with heat. When you say limited space to float on are you meaning for hydro? Any chance of a photo of your setup.

You could get 4 clones in a bucket about 1/10th that size imo. He means lack of surface area because it’s a deep bucket, he’s recommending a tote for example
