Cloning / Lighting Question

Hi

I am on my second grow. I am growing 5 Femonized Spanish White Widow plants. I am using a 250W Osram Planstar. I am also hanging an 85W CFL in the box for a total of 335W.
I would like to attempt cloning them. I germinated them in a wet paper towel on May 9th. Their first day above ground was May 14th. (BY THE WAY, I AM HIGH AS BALLS).

Two Side Question:

Which date would be considered the beginning of week 1 ?.....May 9th (seeds put in a wet paper towel) or May 14th (first day above ground)?

Also- Can I take clones now ? When ?

My cloning main question is about the light. As I understand it, it is important that the clones be kept at low light levels so they focus on rooting. I can't really get to a bulb right now...I'm tied down at home for a while...long story....work related. Would a solution be to slide the little plastic greenhouse clone box to the other end of the room where the lumens are very low ?

Thanks so much for any help.

I don't start counting weeks until the seed has fully sprouted

for taking clones most folks grow a mother plant that they keep in perpetual veg and take clones as needed
for getting them to root i use rootech by technaflora and keep them covered wet and at the bottom of my veg cabinet. they get great indirect light and usually root in a week.

Yep, low light. The shadows in your grow room. but you also need to keep them warm. the warmth will promote rooting faster.
