After the buds are harvested, you may realize just how much you want to perpetuate a plant you neglected to take cuttings from. Cut the main stalk down to the point where below several growth tips or buds are remaining. Return the plant to a vegetative fertilizer and photoperiod. Over the next several weeks, the plant will elongate and devlop new upward growth. It is very important not to overwater the plant after it has been cut back. The reduced above ground plant structure is still being fed by the entire existing root system, which can cause an excessive amount of water uptake and the resultant stress associated. The use of products containing ammonium form nitrogen, such as chicken manure or Genesis Formula Grow 2 will encourage rapid growth and stem elongation. Trace element supplemenation, co2 and 24 hour lighting are helpful.

This seems to be a common question lately Mogie. As I stated in one of the other simular posts, I am trying this right now, and it is not as easy as I 1st thought.
I think what I did wrong, and only because I didnt know any better, was that when you revert back to the (RE)-vegging stage, I read that you should use a 24 hour light period for the 1st week, than cut it back to 18/6.
I neglected to do this, and I am not certain that this is the reason for my level of success/failures, but I think it may be.
I started to re-veg 4 of my plants, and out of four, I only think that one is going to make it.
Remember to leave some of the lower (smaller) buds on the plant, and leave as many leaves as possible too.
Peace

Always take clones... clones are a mans best friend.. even if you dont KNOW if the plant is male or female.. still take clones and mark your clones (incase you find out the mother is really a FATHER)..

the only reason not to take clones is JOHNNY LAW.. those KAK boys can bust you for ROOTED clones...

Yes clones are the easiest way to go. And I do clones on a regular basis but unforseen stuff happens sad to say and sometimes regeneration is a last ditch effort. Success at isn't easy like video said. It's just a good thing to know just in case. But in my case if it can go wrong it will.
