cloning!

so im gonna cut some clones today i got some clone gel do i really need to have a solution? im useing some rapid rooters can i just soak them with water or some food mixed water? i dont wanna spend all this money for solution

Yeah the gel helps quite a bit. You don't need it persay but I would use it...I always do. Also soak the RRs in Ph 5.5 -5.7 water no food, it's not good to give clones food. Also when you soak the RRs make sure you let them breathe a little they hold a ton of water...good luck
