Cloning

Question. Got a lady in a 12/12 lighting. Been flowering/budding for about a week or so. Wanting to clone. Can I still clone a stem/node that is flowering?

It's still early so you should be fine, try to find branches that are lower on the plant that don't have bud sites forming.

yes you can but it will take a long time for it to completely revert back to veg and try to get a branch near the bottom, i have never done it but i would do all the tricks, splitting the stem where desired roots develope and maybe even shaving a little skin of same part of stem to expose as much inner stem as possible, even a clone with a bud will eventually revert to veg unter 24/7 light

you'll be fine

i read an article that said that this is actually the BEST time to clone
the strtching during the crossover provides a better rooting plant?
i can tell you that i love to clone at day 3-8 of flower
when i see the stretch kick in, i cut
i have had great success with going straight to root in the flower room and continuing straight into flower as well
the plants that i place into 24 hour light? - they don't seem to have gone into a flowering mode to revert from
once they root - 5-12 days on avg - they take off immediately

i've seen people say that nitrogen starvation aids in the process
well, a plant stretching and throwing out leaves is naturally starved for nitrogen, right?
